To be considered applicants must be meet the following essential criteria:
  

  • Demonstrable experience working on rail
  • Cert II Rail Infrastructure
  • White card
  • Full Clean “C” Class Driving License as a minimum (HR Licence preferred)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A.
  • Accurate completion of paperwork and inductions.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and safe manner

  
Desirable Competencies

  • Nationally Recognised Plant Operator Tickets & experience as a Rail Operator
  • Nationally Recognised Welders Certification
  • Nationally Recognised HiRail Certification 
  • Experience working in the Pilbara Region of WA
  • “F” Endorsement
  • Defensive Four-Wheel Drive
  • Senior First Aid

Peggy/ Stores

Category 5 Labour Management are a locally owned and operated labour hire business, supplying trades and maintenance personnel to various industries within Port Hedland and also surrounding Pilbara towns.

Our client is a major construction company that will be involved in a new rail project.

The Role:

Currently seeking an experienced Peggy / Stores Person  to join their Port Hedland Rail Yard.

You will be working at the rail yard in Hedland with frequent trips in and out of town to collect and maintain stocks, sort and look after PPE, unload of trucks may be required and miscellaneous works.
  
Previous experience working in a similar role including driving HR Truck driving essential. You will be working in a fast paced workshop, therefore you will need to be capable of working autonomously and adhering to the safety culture.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for the following roles:
– Experienced Mobile Flashbutt Welders
– Experienced AT Welders
– Experienced Track Labourers
– Experienced Hi-Rail Excavator Operators
– Experienced Track Machine Operators
– Experienced Track Workers
– Experienced Loader Operators

For work across a number of different Projects across the Australia and New Zealand in 2020

REQUIREMENTS
– Cert 2 in Rail Infrastructure (Preferred but essential)
