The Role -Landscaping Supervisor

  • Delivering high quality landscape commercial projects through pre and post installation auditing, industry best practice and have excellent knowledge and standards of OH&S. 
  • Supporting teams to complete landscape commercial projects.

  
Experience & Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in all aspects of commercial landscape construction, including industry best practice, troubleshooting and safety principles.
  • Reliable, punctual and have excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage staff and small-scale projects to the highest level of service and quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective negotiation skill, the ability to problem-solve and demonstrate handover with Client.
  • Certificate II or III in Landscaping or Horticulture will be highly regarded.
  • Current manual Drivers License (MR or HR preferred) and White Construction Card.

The successful candidate will have the following licenses/ tickets and qualifications:

  • Own and maintain Scaffold Register.
  • Subject matter expert and contact for all scaffolding activities at port, problem solving and complex scaffold design assistance.
  • Review Australian Standards, legislation etc. Relevant to scaffolding and industry standards.
  • Liaise with vendors to organise ad hoc labour when there are shortages for both shutdown and weekly work.  
  • Assist with the planning and resourcing of late work and complex shutdown work.
  • Review shutdown handovers and labour requests to assess gaps and escalate if required.
  • Address any equipment constraints

The Project Engineer is responsible for electrical power and control system design, planning and commissioning. The position’s main focus is PCS, substation designs, earthing designs and protection designs.
  

Role Duties include:

  • Support the development of the engineering team with specialist skills to service the local heavy industry clients.
  • Guiding and tutoring Graduate Engineers with project work, designs and technical issues. Review work completed by Graduate Engineers.
  • Understand and keep abreast of International Standards, Australian Standards and legislative requirements.
  • Manage and report on projects including budgetary and time frame management.
  • Contribute to business development and direction by introducing new markets and innovations.
  • Develop reports, specifications and technical papers as required by the company and its clients.
  • Continual development and improvement of the company systems.
  • Develop and maintain contracts with clients.
  • Assist Senior Engineers with project work and designs.

  
Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience (Post graduate program).
  • Strong level of knowledge and commitment to safety and customer service.
  • Proven knowledge with specialist protection and analysis software for power systems and earthing system design.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Well organised, pragmatic and able to handle a diverse and complex workload.
  • Demonstrable advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

The Role

  • WA Based Candidates only
  • Have a good attitude towards safety & experience working in high safety critical environments
  • Ore car experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and background
  • Available to start ASAP
  • Ability to pass a Rail Category 2 Medical
  • Forklift Licence

Accounts Officer / Payroll Officer

About the role Category 5 is currently seeking to appoint a suitably enthusiastic Accounts Officer to join the finance/payroll team who is skilled, and detail orientated. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This will be a rare opportunity to work within a company who provides trade services throughout the Pilbara. 

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
   -Calculate and process employee salaries, bonuses, commissions, and                benefits.
   -Ensure accurate and timely distribution of payroll and Financial Record              Management.
   -Maintain and organize financial records, including receipts, invoices, and            other documentation.
   -Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Bookkeeping:
    -Record day-to-day financial transactions.
    -Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries.
Financial Reporting
    -Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

    -Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Budgeting:
    -Assist in the development of budgets and financial plans.

    -Monitor budgetary performance and report any variances.
Tax Compliance:
    -Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns.

    -Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.
Audit Support:
    -Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.

    -Provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit queries.
Financial Analysis:
    -Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances.

To be considered applicants must be meet the following criteria:

  • Certification IV in Accounts
  • Accounts and Payroll experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,MYOB).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
