The Role:
 This role is required to provide project support across the three workstreams, assisting the Senior Service Delivery Project Manager.
The applicant will be responsible for leading the land, housing and built-form construction activities of the agency.

  • maintaining and delivering the dwellings and assets required to enable the Department of Communities to deliver its services;
  • delivering affordable and diverse land and built-form housing to support the efficient functioning of the Western Australian housing market; and
  • creating and recreating the diverse and inclusive communities.

 
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shapes and manages strategy by  Contributing to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of project management policies, procedures, templates and tools.
  •   Achieves results by Compiling reports for monitoring and reporting of risks associated with assigned projects.   Monitors project outcomes to ensure benefits are achieved.  Undertakes (either individually or as project lead) reasonably simple project/s, and/or supports components of larger more significant projects, to investigate issues and/or develop and implement initiatives.
  • Maintains key project documentation and manages document and version control for allocated projects including schedules, plans, registers, change requests, project status reports and financial tracking.
  • Ability to build productive relationships

  • Administrate and support systems that ensure our client complies with all applicable management system standards, codes, as well as its legal and statutory requirements
  • Review and maintain all Environment & Heritage and Health & Safety controlled documents.
  • Preparation and accurate recordkeeping of HSE meeting requirements including agenda & minutes.
  • Liaise and work with other business units and external stakeholders to complete relevant tasks
  • Any other general or specific assistance requested by the Environment & Heritage Manager or the Health & Safety Manager as required.

Assistant QHSE Coordinator

Category 5 Labour Management work with a range of clients across Mining, Marine and Civil Industries throughout Perth and predominately the North West of WA.

The Role: 
Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Assistant QHSE Coordinator to join the team.   The role is based in West Perth and would involve travel to  regional Karratha office once a month.  Offering support to the QHSE Coordinator with the management and improvement of QHSEMS.  and compliance to various regulations and code of practice that apply to operations.  

To be considered for this role the applicants must meet the following criteria: 
• Formal QHSE qualification – degree, diploma or certificate
• Lead Auditor Training
• Root Cause Analysis (ICAM preferred or similar)
• Behavioral Safety experience
• Marine industry experience
• Drive and desire to make everyone’s Job safe at all times
• Demonstrated success at building relationships and influencing staff at all levels
• Inquisitive mind to assist with getting the most from investigations and audits
