Commitment to Training

Our Commitment to Training

The team at Category 5 have substantial experience in all aspects of training

Category 5 are a Registered Training Organisation

One of our unique differentiators at Category 5 is the investment we have made into training our staff. We have a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Iron Training. The benefit of our RTO status, is that we can provide our clients with highly skilled, experienced and motivated employees, as well as being able to work with our clients to up skill and provide client and site-specific training on request

Highly Mobile

Being able to offer this training capability means Cat 5 Rail can mobilise our employees in faster timeframes to meet our clients’ business needs.

It also offers our candidates greater career opportunities if they want to get into specific industry’s or positions, as well as offering our clients an increased pool of qualified talent. For example, a candidate with electrical qualifications can be trained and certified by our dedicated RTO to be work ready in the Rail industry.

Training & Safety

The cornerstone of safety is training. Combined with a robust induction process, site-based toolbox talks that regularly emphasise and remind employees of their commitment and responsibility for their own, co-workers and site safety, we believe that training plays a crucial role in ensuring the wellbeing and productivity of all key stakeholders.

Likewise, we are committed to helping our employees develop and progress in their careers. Being able to provide them with additional training and certifications, assists them in achieving their professional ambitions and provides them with increased opportunities. It also means that our clients enjoy access to a broader range of skilled and experienced people.
