Assistant QHSE Coordinator

Category 5 Labour Management work with a range of clients across Mining, Marine and Civil Industries throughout Perth and predominately the North West of WA.

The Role: 
Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Assistant QHSE Coordinator to join the team.   The role is based in West Perth and would involve travel to  regional Karratha office once a month.  Offering support to the QHSE Coordinator with the management and improvement of QHSEMS.  and compliance to various regulations and code of practice that apply to operations.  

To be considered for this role the applicants must meet the following criteria: 
• Formal QHSE qualification – degree, diploma or certificate
• Lead Auditor Training
• Root Cause Analysis (ICAM preferred or similar)
• Behavioral Safety experience
• Marine industry experience
• Drive and desire to make everyone’s Job safe at all times
• Demonstrated success at building relationships and influencing staff at all levels
• Inquisitive mind to assist with getting the most from investigations and audits
• Ability to produce high quality documentation
• Comfortable to talk to groups and impart knowledge
• Professional presentation
• Knowledge in OSH, Australian domestic & international maritime legislation & standards
