Category Five Port Hedland are currently seeking Fitters for ongoing work local to Port Hedland. Working on a 7/7 roster Residential to Port Hedland. The role will see the successful candidate working within a diverse and productive team and presents fantastic new opportunities.
The successful candidate will have the following licenses/ tickets and qualifications:
- Mechanical Fitter/machinist Trade qualifications
- ‘C’ Class Driver License
- full working rights in Australia
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment medical.
- Great safety awareness
To be Considered for this Role the candidate would:
- Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with stringent safety policies and guidelines.
- Work closely with all employees and stakeholders to analyze performance issues, develop, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness including predictive and preventative maintenance measures.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent Mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Maintenance and repair of fuel systems including tanks, pumps, dispensers, pipelines, instruments and associated equipment.
- Perform routine preventative service and maintenance, attend breakdowns, identify faults
