We are seeking applications for Track Renewals Supervisors who have experience working on Tier 1 Rail Networks to become part of our team based on-site in the Pilbara.

To be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria:
- A proven leader in safety and compliance with an approach to safe execution of track renewals activities
- Manage a core track team of approximately 35 personnel including
- Team member performance and development
- Skillsets of the team to ensure they are capable of completing the Scope of works
- Team Safety performance including event reporting, hazard identification and rectification
- Record and provide project specific Q&A documentation
- Strong focus on quality risk assessments for all tasks
- Skilled in providing quality structured Safe starts and debriefs
- Provide detailed site diary of works to BHP Representative daily
- Developing methodologies to improve safety and efficiencies
- Ensuring all work is completed inline with BHP Code of Practice.
- Able to develop and sustain a strong safety and collaborative culture in the track renewals team
- Develop execution plans and sequence the execution of track works, inclusive of all rail disciplines.
- Make critical decisions to ensure operational best practice
- Demonstrate Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience and knowledge of deconstruction, construction of track and associated infrastructure:
- Turnout Construction
- Plainline Construction
- Plainline Renewal
- Re-rail
- De-stress
- Basic Civil Construction
- Flash Butt Welding
- Track resurfacing
- Support the BHP team in project delivery, ensuring projects are constructed to contract requirements and timelines are met
- Ability to liaise and influence alongside shutdown lead and multi disciplines including civil, resurfacing, FBW, signalling, etc.
- Managing the workforce structure and resources to ensure the safe delivery and quality of works
- Planning and setting up work sites for deliveries, prep work, and execution
- Thorough knowledge and experience with risk management and quality assurance practices
- Cert III Rail Infrastructure or equivalent
- Full C Class Driving Licence or higher with no restrictions
- Able to pass Rail Category 1 medical and ongoing D&A screens
Desirable but not essential:
- First Aid training and first responder training
- Inducted and experience on BHP networks
- Section 44 training
- Supervisor training course
