We are currently looking for multiple mechanical fitters and electricians to join the team in Port Hedland New Workshop! FIFO from Perth on 2:1 roster
Responsibilities will include but are not limited:
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on Flashbutt Welders Hi-Rail Excavators, Loaders and Pettibones
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Servicing Heavy Machinery
- Flashbutt Welding (Training Provided if required)
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with WH&S requirements and legislative policies
- Accurate Completion of Paperwork and Strict Adherence to Procedures

Compulsory Requirements:
- Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
- Current Electrical Licence
- Minimum 5 years recent experience as a Heavy Duty Fitter
- Valid Australian Drivers License – HR Class
- White or Blue Card
- 3 Contactable Referees
- Ability to Complete Cat1 Rail Medical and Drug and Alcohol Testing
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working on Rail Equipment specifically Flashbutt Welders and Track Machines.
- Auto- Electrical Experience
- Flashbutt Welding Qualification
