Category 5 Port Hedland are currently seeking an Access Coordinator Residential or FIFO to Port Hedland working a 5/2 4/3 roster. The role will see the successful candidate working within a diverse and productive team and presents fantastic new opportunities.

The successful candidate will have the following licenses/ tickets and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years scaffolding experience
  • S26 highly regarded 
  • Current valid WA driver’s license, C class manual at a minimum
  • Great work ethic and technical knowledge
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • A high level of verbal, written and computer literacy skills
  • The ability to pass an extensive medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen

As part of the role, your main responsibilities and experience will include but aren’t limited too:

  • Responsible for MWC Ownership of Scaffolding Contractor Teams. Provide MECoE with detailed scopes to ensure work Orders are planned and resourced effectively.  
  • Work management operation discipline checks.
  • PM03 Notification /Work order creation.
  • Review pre read for weekly (MN21) schedule.
  • Execute in-field inspections to ensure they meet required standards. 
  • Own and maintain Scaffold Register.
  • Subject matter expert and contact for all scaffolding activities at port, problem solving and complex scaffold design assistance.
  • Review Australian Standards, legislation etc. Relevant to scaffolding and industry standards.
  • Liaise with vendors to organise ad hoc labour when there are shortages for both shutdown and weekly work.  
  • Assist with the planning and resourcing of late work and complex shutdown work.
  • Review shutdown handovers and labour requests to assess gaps and escalate if required.
  • Address any equipment constraints
