Plant Operator

  • $40.41 per hour + Penalties
  • Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day
  • Dandenong Site

We are currently seeking experienced Plant Operator’s to join our fast-growing East Coast team and clients, on site in Dandenong, Victoria. This position will be 6 weeks casual duration with potential to extend or move to permanent with the client. Hours worked will be Monday and Tuesday, 8 am to 5pm, Wednesday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.

Duties Include:

  • Operating earthmoving equipment (ie. Material Handler, Frontend Loader, excavators, Fork Lift, Skid steer).
  • Maintain a professional image and deliver high quality customer service at all times.
  • Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading or compacting of waste or other materials.
  • Excavate, load, transport soil, gravel and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.

 
Experience & Qualifications

(Required)

  • Front End Loader Experience Minimum
  • RII’s or Certifications for Front End Loader, Excacator, Forklift, Skid Steer & Material Handler.

  
(Preferred)

  • Experience operating a side lift/left hand drive vehicle.
  • Waste Industry knowledge and experience (preferred)
